Northward

Today G & S drove north for a few hours until we arrived in the town of St. Anthony. We stopped at a long sandy beach (nobody swam, but the sand was warmed by the sun), then past mountains and further along we saw flat treeless bogs, almost always in sight of the Gulf of St. Laurence. We stopped in the town of Port aux Choix for lunch near the fish plant, and moved on rather quickly to make the distance to our destination. We stopped for a break where I saw these beautiful flowers. Nearing the northern end of the trip we started to see icebergs in the water. Tonight we're lodged in a comfortable B&B in beautiful St. Anthony, surrounded by icebergs on all sides of this small peninsula. It was 26 degrees C here this afternoon and sunny.
