Groovy Gros Morne

On Sunday, the main event was a boat tour of Western Brook Pond. It was a cool cloudy day, but with enough visibility to see most of the steep towering slopes of the mountains. My toque came in handy. We also walked the trail to the Pond, enjoying the many spring flowers and bird song. We stopped on the highway at a short path to see giant boulders and a wrecked boat on the ocean shore. Now we're off to see more of Gros Morne.
